We have completed a number of timber frame extensions and builds in the Bristol and Bath area. They are becoming a popular alternative to traditional builds, which we have a lot of experience in. Benefits include:

Excellent insulation and energy efficiency. Not only is timber a natural insulator, but typically there is more insulation in a timber frame build than a traditional build.
A timber frame is highly durable and strong. Some people prefer the traditional brick, block and steel because it feels more solid. However our timber frame structures meet all of the requirements of Building Regulations, just like brick and block walls. There is no risk of rotting as we ensure that the frame work is correctly damp proofed.

Project Pavilion in Frenchay

This was one of our bigger timber frame builds that we completed in around 5-6 weeks during the very hot weather. Our dedicated and hard working team pushed on to get the job done.

This included the groundworks, the entire build, insulation, plastering, electrics, flooring, doors, windows and fitting a kitchen. We also made a disabled access ramp.

TIMBER FRAME EXTENSION IN DOWNEND

This was one of our bigger timber frame extensions we have completed in Downend. This was finished in a render colour of their choice, and three skylight windows for ventilation and light.

We finished off the inside completing all electrics and plastering.

We then handed over to our customer who will be doing the kitchen fit and further finishing touches.

We were really pleased with the end result on this job.

TIMBER FRAME EXTENSION IN BATH

A modern timber frame extension we built at the rear of a customer's house in Bath.

The outside we finished in timber cladding, fitted the doors, windows and skylights.

The inside we plastered, laid the floor and completed with electrics.

EXTENSION IN SEA MILLS

Our customer needed some extra space downstairs for a utility and WC, so this is exactly what we done.

We added this single storey timber frame extension to their home so they can now enjoy the rest of the house without the noise of a washing machine or tripping up coats/ shoes in the hallway.

We also levelled the garden and laid patio to optimise the outside space, ready for them to enjoy in the summer months ahead.

TRADITIONAL EXTENSION IN KINGSWOOD

This was a traditional extension we completed at the start of 2022. The property was on a slope which meant a lot more digging and a lot more work.

We completed the entire project: removing and disposing of existing conservatory, groundworks, block work, insulation, rendering, roofing,

electrics, driveway and garden landscaping.
